but sometimes

I was doing some reading for class and decided to take Les Mots Manquants up on his challenge of creating a piece outside of the regular Ekphrasis and Exquisite framework that we’ve established. The lines in this poem were drawn from Shaun McNiff’s book, “Art as Medicine”; the man writes rather poetically, so it wasn’t difficult to find lines that stood out from different chapters and somehow worked together cohesively.
